In short
What is a knowledge base and a help centre?
A knowledge base is a company’s collected answers – prices, opening hours, terms and instructions – in one place. A help centre is where customers search those answers themselves, organised into categories and articles. In Blixtflow, the customer service platform from Blixtgo Agency AB, the knowledge base is built from your website, PDFs, texts and images and is re-read automatically. The same knowledge is used by the help centre in the website chat, by the chatbot and by the AI receptionist on the phone.

Questions and answers
Common questions about help centres and knowledge bases
What’s the difference between a knowledge base and a help centre?
The knowledge base is the company’s collected information – your website, PDFs, texts and images. The help centre is the articles customers search themselves in the website chat. In Blixtflow they work together: the same knowledge is used by the help centre, the chatbot and the AI receptionist.
Which sources can we add?
A link, your whole website via the sitemap (up to 40 pages), text, PDFs and images.
Do we have to write all the articles ourselves?
No. The knowledge base reads in what you already have, and “Generate with AI” writes draft articles from it. Drafts are not published until you have read them.
How does the knowledge base stay up to date?
Sources are re-read automatically, from every hour to once a month. If a price list changes on your website, the AI compiles the new one.
Where do customers see the help centre?
In the chat on your website, with categories and search. Only published articles are shown.
Do the chatbot and AI receptionist use the same knowledge?
Yes. When you update the knowledge base, the help centre, the chatbot and the AI receptionist all answer with the same, new information.
Can we have several help centres?
Yes, one per website or brand, for example.
How much does the help centre cost?
It is included in every Blixtflow plan, from SEK 1,799 a month for the whole company. You can try it free for 14 days, no credit card needed.
